Thanks to the nous and expertise of promoters: Caffy St. Luce and Heather Minx Ferguson, discerning music-lovers can now experience the aural delights of vanguard beats and good old-fashioned Rock 'N' Roll." (Musos Guide)

"Its a ramshackle helter skelter of a festival with the best events likely to be arranged minutes before they actually take place. Nothings really organised until its already happened is how one organiser put it to us last week (with the kind of ambiguity that journalists just love). " (Pulse),

"Come to think of it, there hasn't been a band tonight that hasnt swapped places with the audience at some point. in a sense, thats what the artful partys about. Inspiration. community. ideas. passion. punk rock."  (NME at the Artful Party),

"The outpouring of creativity around the brightly coloured scene has resulted in some great songs, some hilarity and some strange clothing" (Guardian Guide),

"The difference from other similarly creative neighbourhoods such as, say, Shoreditch, is the spirit in which everyone has entered into their work. It's as inclusive as you can get" (Time Out Magazine),

"Upon arrival there were hoards of people congregating throughout the streets drinking cans of beer and floating around in all manner of strange and wonderful attire - for no apparent reason lampshades featured as headwear on a number of individuals, cricket wear was modelled and even people who looked like they'd arrived fresh from a day at Ascot sauntered around looking suitably 'anti-scene'.  The overall atmosphere was that of celebration and creativity. It was a feast for all the senses with people showcasing their individual interpretations of art, fashion and music." (Disorder Mag at Rocklands Party).

"With the room heaving I spot various signs in the crowd, everythng from pirates to people wearing lampshades on their head, to 192s dancer costumers and aliens." (Artrocker Magazine at Rocklands Party).

"The London-trotting Rocklands brand, which is now cropping up all over our fair city,  always with sterling guitary talent and an impeccable party vibe"  (Pulse)
